That Which Shimmers in the Dark | Festive Concert | Liepājas teātris

In the darkness of winter, many things shimmer: hopes, sparklers, dreams, snow, candle flames, frost flowers, a little ring fallen to the ground, strings of lights, Christmas tree ornaments, stars, the festive tram, angel hair and another person’s eyes. In the darkness of winter, it is easier to notice what shimmers and easier to believe in it! It is easier to hear it in songs, keep it in your heart and take it with you as a warm memory, like a talisman for the new year. “That Which Shimmers in the Dark will be a musical tram ride on a snowy winter evening, a chance to be with yourself, to be together, to find what has been lost, what shimmers in the dark and is deeply connected to you,” says Paula Pļavniece. Director: Paula Pļavniece. Featuring: Agnese Jēkabsone, Anete Rimkus, Anda Albuže, Laura Jeruma, Santa Breikša, Dārta Cīrule, Valts Skuja, Kārlis Artejevs, Viktors Ellers, Kaspars Kārkliņš and Sandis Pēcis, as well as musicians led by Normunds Kalniņš.
