An AI agent can search for information, compare offers, organise files and prepare a response to a customer on your behalf. If you give it access to the tools it needs, it can work through a task in several steps—you don’t have to specify every action individually. This makes it possible to delegate more routine work to AI. But how do you decide which files and accounts an agent can access, what it can change on its own, and when it needs to ask for your approval?

Join this free, practical workshop to learn through simple examples how to get more out of AI while reducing the risks associated with using it. We’ll look at how to give AI the information it needs to work, protect sensitive data, and stay in control even when you connect your files or work account to AI.

At the workshop, you’ll learn to:

Choose information that is appropriate for a task. Distinguish between public, internal and sensitive data, and learn how to handle it when using AI.

Prepare files for use. Remove or replace sensitive data so you can work with documents more safely.

Choose settings and access permissions thoughtfully. Review your account, connected applications and permissions so AI can access the information it needs for the task.

Get more reliable results. Check important facts, sources and conclusions so you can use AI-generated work with greater confidence.

Give AI an appropriate degree of autonomy. Decide when AI can act on its own and when it must ask for your approval before changing a file or sending an email.

A simple example: you need to compare three offers. You prepare the files and remove unnecessary personal data. AI compiles the prices, terms and differences into a clear table. You check the details that matter to your decision—leaving you more time to make a choice and less work gathering information by hand.

We’ll also look at what to check when choosing a paid account and how to configure tools so that convenience and security go hand in hand. You’ll leave the workshop with a practical checklist to help you use AI more thoughtfully, delegate tasks with confidence, and keep important decisions in your hands.

No prior cybersecurity knowledge is needed.

Trainer: Janika Mõru

Janika Mõru is a trainer at Veebikool and leads work on customer experience, systems and automation. As an AI and automation practitioner and trainer, she helps find ways for technology to reduce everyday workloads. Her approach combines practical benefits with thoughtful use: how to make work easier while keeping data protected and actions under control.

Bring your laptop and charger. We’ll use sample data in the exercises so you can try out the techniques safely. Do not enter personal data or confidential information into public AI tools.

Participation is free. Register and come try it out!

The workshop is part of Arunädal and the Eesti.ai initiative “The Most AI-Savvy Nation”.
