Christmas Wreath Workshop

Get into the Christmas spirit at the Gelato Ladies ice cream café. In this guided workshop, you’ll make your own natural Christmas wreath. We’ll provide fresh green branches brought down by the wind, dried flowers, festive-scented mandarin, cinnamon, eucalyptus and plenty of other inspiring materials. We’ll make the decoration without glue and explore different techniques and plants. We’ll also discuss how to use as much locally sourced material as possible, giving your decoration a smaller footprint. Everything you need for crafting is provided: scissors, gloves and materials. Wear comfortable clothes, as some branches may be sappy.

The workshop takes place at the cosy Gelato Ladies ice cream café in Tallinn’s Old Town. The price is €60 and the workshop lasts about 2.5 hours. The price includes a glass of glögi, with or without alcohol. During the cosy evening, you can also buy other hot and cold drinks and something to eat from the café counter. The workshop starts at 17:30; those arriving later can join as they arrive.

About the instructor: Liis Dvorjanski is a designer inspired by nature and its simple beauty. A subject close to her heart is sustainable decorating—finding a balance between beautiful form and an environmentally conscious approach. Her interest in wreath-making also led Liis to study floristry at Räpina Horticultural School. Places are very limited!
