RETROPIDU 2026 — LET’S GET AVINURME MOVING!

Do you remember when the disco ball spun, the record player or cassette deck played, hair was bigger, trouser legs wider, shirts more colourful, and disco hits so good you couldn’t bear to leave the dance floor? Now it’s time to experience it all again!

On 12 December, we’ll turn back the clock at Avinurme Kultuurikeskus and throw a proper retro party! Forget your everyday worries for one evening, dig your coolest retro clothes out of the back of the closet, fluff up your hair and come party!

Who and what will make the evening shine?

DJ RAUNO MÄRKS will spin records and bring nostalgic retro hits to the dance floor — the kind that make you sigh, “Oh, those were the hits of our youth!” And then there’s no escape: your feet will carry you to the dance floor!

MAGICIAN RICHARD SAMARÜÜTEL will add mystery, unbelievable tricks and surprises to the evening. A few things might disappear… hopefully not your dance partner!

PLEASE NOTE: If you want to see Richard’s tricks, arrive by 19:30 at the latest.

HOST MARGO HUSSAR will keep the party lively and the mood fun! A proper party calls for someone who knows how to get the crowd going!

PHOTOBOX — capture your fabulous look and take pictures with your friends. Who knows when you’ll next go out dressed so splendidly in retro style!

OPEN BAR — recharge after working up a sweat on the dance floor and reminisce about the good old days!

That evening, you’re allowed to:
- Sing along, even if you can’t remember the words
- Dance as if nobody’s watching
- Wear clothes that make people ask nowadays, “Did anyone really dress like that?”
- Meet old acquaintances, make new friends and feel as young as you did at your first disco

DRESS CODE: The more retro, the better — colours, sparkle, sequins, jeans, curls and anything else that brings back the good old days! Prizes for the best outfits!
