Karmoška Ensemble N-duur Concert “Towards the Light”

On 13 December, St. Lucy’s Day, when people await the return of light in the winter darkness, Kadriorg Orangery will fill with karmoška music. Karmoška Ensemble N-duur invites listeners on a musical journey where light can be found in sunny melodies, lively dance rhythms and the gentle anticipation of Christmas on a winter evening. The journey leads from the paths of Setomaa and Saaremaa to the streets of Paris, then across the ocean. The programme features traditional dance tunes, romantic waltzes, world-famous melodies and familiar Christmas songs. N-duur is a karmoška ensemble led by Ruti Enn, whose members share the joy of playing and a love of beautiful melodies. Come and hear how light sounds on the karmoškas!
