Liepāja Vocal Studio STARI Concert | Warm Letters

What would Christmas be without friends, laughter, songs and a little mischief? On the first Sunday of Advent, festive cheer will fill Pegaza Pagalms as vocal arts studio “STARI” visits with a heartwarming musical Christmas show. The children have gathered to celebrate, but it turns out they each have their own ideas about what a real Christmas should be like. Some want to sing, some to dance, while others would rather sit on their phones. Then come the misunderstandings, amusing adventures and unexpected surprises! It is a story about friendship, laughter and the joy of being together, reminding us that sometimes the most important thing is to set aside the rush of everyday life and simply spend time together.

That day, the “Warm Letters” initiative will also begin at Pegaza Pagalms. Throughout Advent, a participatory art installation, the “Wall of Warm Letters”, will take shape in Pegaza Viesistaba. Everyone is invited to leave warm words, wishes or messages of encouragement for the six child ambassadors of the “Angels Over Latvia” campaign, who come from different cities across Latvia. After the campaign, the letters will be delivered to the children, while together they will form a special work of art during the concerts. The run-up to Christmas encourages us to pay more attention to others and do good deeds that can warm someone’s heart.
