Their sound isn’t made for comfort. Built from fragments of chaos, heaviness, and inner afflictions/noise, their music uses hardcore and death metal as a starting point to explore mental states that are difficult to explain but impossible not to feel.

THE PRIMER have been making noise since 2011, releasing their debut album in 2013 and their first EP a year later. Staying true to their roots while bringing their own signature to the mix, the band channels life’s nightmares, struggles, and vicious cycles into music that hits hard and pulls no punches.
