Haori Sewing

Come and sew yourself a special piece of clothing! Haori is a traditional Japanese jacket, customarily worn over a kimono. Because it is simple and multifunctional yet elegant, modern interpretations of this traditional garment have also become popular here. The haori pattern is fairly simple, making it suitable for beginner sewers.

In the workshop:
- Learn about the haori tradition
- Learn to use sewing patterns and adapt them to your measurements
- Get acquainted with the necessary sewing techniques
- Go through the process of sewing a haori step by step
- Sew your own beautiful, modern haori

All materials are provided, but if you’d like to give new life to, for example, curtains inherited from your grandmother, you’re welcome to bring your own fabric.
