Kuressaare – AI in Office Work

Have you already tried AI tools, or are you thinking of getting started but aren’t sure how to make them genuinely useful at work? This workshop is for you. Over three hours, we’ll look at how AI can help with emails, documents, spreadsheets and presentations. Together, we’ll identify tasks in your work where it can save time. No programming skills are needed.

What we’ll cover

1. How to talk to AI
An AI response is only as good as your question. We’ll show you how to describe a task clearly so you can get a useful result the first time.

2. Texts and emails
Drafting an email, summarising a long document, or making formal text easier to understand. We’ll show you which writing tasks AI handles well and where you need to review the result carefully.

3. Spreadsheets and data
AI can read spreadsheets, write formulas and summarise data. We’ll show you how to use it without having to know formulas by heart.

4. AI tools
You can work with AI in a browser chat window or in an application installed on your computer. We’ll explain the difference and when each option is suitable.

5. Repetitive tasks
Many work tasks recur every week in almost the same form. We’ll show you how to give AI clear instructions once so it can repeat the same task in future.

Practical session
Try everything on your own computer. Choose one of your work tasks, and we’ll complete it from start to finish with AI.

– An understanding of what AI can and can’t do in office work
– Techniques for getting better answers from AI
– One tested solution for a task from your own work

Who it’s for: Anyone who works on a computer: writing emails and documents, filling in spreadsheets, creating presentations or managing a calendar.
