RUUMIKLUBI Discussion and Jazz Series: Tõnis Arjus and Kristi Saare
Wed 25 Nov, 20:00–22:00

Philly Joe’s Jazz Club, Vabaduse väljak 10, Tallinn

On the third evening of the Tallinn Architecture Biennale’s discussion and jazz series, on 25 November, Estonia’s State Architect Tõnis Arjus talks with investor and entrepreneur Kristi Saare about how space affects and shapes us. Music by saxophonist Nikita Korzoun.

Kristi Saare is an investor, entrepreneur and advocate for financial literacy. At RUUMIKLUBI, she talks with Tõnis Arjus about the role of space in our everyday lives and its connections to personal choices, opportunities and values.

Nikita Korzoun is a saxophonist and composer whose playing brings together jazz tradition and contemporary sound. His influences include Cannonball Adderley, Kenny Garrett, Michael Brecker and McCoy Tyner. Korzoun has performed at Jazzkaar, Tudengijazz and several international festivals. His original compositions can be heard on his debut album, “Count To Three”. His playing has been recognised for both its expressive alto saxophone sound and his deep commitment to jazz.

RUUMIKLUBI explores the meanings of space and its impact on our lives. It is a place where personal stories and music meet—where people share personal and professional experiences of how our surroundings affect and shape us. Guests from a wide range of backgrounds are invited to the conversations, including writers, lawyers, sociologists, musicians, entrepreneurs, architects and even heads of state. Many are known to the public primarily through the media, but RUUMIKLUBI offers a chance to see their worlds of thought and experience from a new perspective. Each conversation explores how space touches us all—whether it is a home, public urban space, a natural landscape or a workplace.

RUUMIKLUBI is not limited to words. Music is woven into every discussion: each gathering features a jazz artist with a distinctive style, adding a poetic and improvisational layer to the conversation. Music fills the space.

The evening is hosted by Estonia’s State Architect Tõnis Arjus. The club’s conversations are also available afterwards in the “Ruumilood” podcast.

Come listen, think and feel—RUUMIKLUBI welcomes everyone interested in the spaces around us and within us!

The event is in Estonian.
