This year, on the 108th anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic of Latvia, GUSTAVO will perform in Sigulda. He was the first Latvian rapper to draw thousands of people to “Arēna Rīga” back in 2010. Latvia can be experienced in many ways—including through hip-hop, which has long been an important part of Latvian music culture. GUSTAVO is one of its most prominent representatives. His music weaves deep, meaningful lyrics together with a contemporary sound, connecting and speaking to different generations.

Latvia can be honoured in many ways—including through today’s fighters, the storytellers of Latvian strength in music. GUSTAVO, a founding figure of the Latvian hip-hop scene, producer and musician, has created countless songs over the course of his career that have become genre classics. The concert will feature both his best-known hits and newer tracks. In his concerts, GUSTAVO creates a powerful, musically nuanced sound, always giving his songs a fresh stage presence. A considered visual narrative will complement the programme, highlighting the mood of the music and making the concert an emotionally cohesive experience for every attendee.
