KorFest Weekend invites you to the premiere of dance films on 25 November, featuring 15 dance films by third-year students in the choreography programme at TLÜ BFM. Each film opens up a world of its own and offers a chance to experience dance through a perspective chosen by the camera.

The films are the result of 12 weeks of experimentation and discovery in the course “Dance Composition for the Camera,” taught by guest lecturer Rūta Ronja Pakalne. The students took charge of the entire creative process: finding locations, creating movement, filming, designing sound, and finding a rhythm for their stories in the edit. Alongside learning the basics of filmmaking, they explored how space, the body, the frame and sound affect one another.

Now these explorations meet on the big screen. Come and see what form movement takes through the eyes of fifteen authors!

Mait Agu Hall is wheelchair accessible and has an accessible toilet.
