Uus Kontsert presents Bruno Angelini “Lotus Flowers”
Bruno Angelini: piano, compositions (FR)
Angelika Niescier: alto saxophone (DE)
Sakina Abdou: tenor saxophone (FR)
The programme brings together the moods of free jazz and blues, performed by French bandleader Bruno Angelini on piano and compositions, Sakina Abdou on tenor saxophone, and Angelika Niescier on alto saxophone. At the heart of the programme is the lotus flower, a symbol of light and purity that grows in a difficult and dangerous environment while purifying the surrounding water.
