On Wednesday, 11 November at 18:00, LILLI LUUK will be our guest. Lilli Luuk (born 1976) is an Estonian writer whose works have made waves both at home and internationally. Luuk’s debut short story, “Auk,” was published in the journal Looming in 2017 and immediately received the Tuglas Prize. Since then, Luuk has received several other awards for her work, and her short prose has been translated into eight languages. Her published works include the short-story collections “Kolhoosi miss” (2022) and “Lühike sõjaajalugu” (2026), and the novels “Minu venna keha” (2022) and “Ööema” (2024). The latter has won several awards and was also nominated for the European Union Prize for Literature; translation rights for the novel have been sold in Hungarian, German, French, Dutch and other languages. Advance tickets cost €10 until 10 November and are available at fienta.com, on the museum website or at the Koidula Museum ticket office. Tickets cost €12 on the day. The literary meetings are supported by Kultuurkapital.
