Freedom Trail Hike in Karosta

Learn about the history of Latvia’s War of Independence on a hike suitable for the whole family. The route is about 6 km long. We will explore Karosta’s forest area, the seashore, the Fortress Canal, and military heritage from the Tsarist and Soviet periods. We will visit the Karosta and War of Independence Museum at Redāns. After the hike, warm soup and tea will be waiting for us at Redāns. To conclude the event, we will light the candle we have brought with us at the Redāns symbol “Freedom.”

Participation fee (includes all activities and lunch): Adults and schoolchildren aged 12 and over: 10 EUR; children under 12: 7 EUR.
