Aste Charity Christmas Market

The Charity Christmas Market takes place on Sunday, 29 November 2026, from 15:00 to 18:00 at Aste Rahvamaja in Saaremaa. The elves are already beginning to stretch, the Christmas spirit is quietly making its way into our hearts, and the first Sunday of Advent is gently knocking at the door. We invite you to spend a lovely Sunday at Aste Rahvamaja. It will be a warm and very much our own community day. You’re sure to find something exciting, sweet and special at the Christmas Market. Come browse, trade, look for gifts or simply enjoy the Christmas atmosphere.

Our Christmas event also has a particularly lovely purpose. Together, we want to do good and lend a helping hand to the animals cared for by MTÜ Saaremaa Lemmikloomade Turvakodu. The following organisations are helping make the Christmas Market happen: Aste Rahvamaja, Aste raamatukogu, Aste noortekas, Aste lasteaed Mõmmik, Aste Põhikool and MTÜ Saaremaa Lemmikloomade Turvakodu.

Jõulumemm and Jõulutaat will also visit us, and who knows what other fun surprises the day may bring. Our lovely day will be hosted by Mihkel Vendel. And as the bustle of the Christmas Market begins to wind down, one special moment still awaits us: the Christmas tree lights will be switched on during a wonderful Advent concert! Mihkel Vendel and Martin Vesberg will create this beautiful musical moment.

The warmth of Christmas begins with us, and the most special Christmas miracles come from doing good. See you at Aste Rahvamaja.
