A heartwarming story about Barry, the legendary avalanche dog who really lived. Twelve-year-old Georg and his older brother Alfons flee the Napoleonic Wars, crossing the Great St. Bernard Pass. When the journey becomes too difficult for Georg, he wakes up in the infirmary of a mountain monastery, where his brother has left him to recover alone. There, he must quickly adapt to the strict rules. Soon he befriends a local girl, Resi, and finds a rejected Saint Bernard puppy at her father’s kennel. Georg decides to save the puppy and secretly take care of him. Barry becomes his inseparable companion, repaying his rescue with unwavering loyalty. When their secret is discovered, Georg’s quick wits help him escape punishment, and he is instead given the chance to study at the monastery. But his success and closeness to Barry make Célestin, the son of a powerful family, jealous, and he decides to separate them at any cost.

A combo ticket is available for €15 (€10 concession) when visiting the exhibition and attending the film screening on the same day. The gallery is open until 18:00, so combo-ticket holders are asked to visit the exhibition before the screening.
