Safe use of AI – how can you recognise risks and avoid dangerous mistakes? AI answers confidently, presents convincing facts and cites sources that appear trustworthy. But what if the whole answer is made up? Would you be able to spot it? AI helps us work faster, find solutions and save time. But using it also brings risks that we often overlook. Can AI answers be trusted? Who is responsible when AI gets something wrong? In this practical training, you will learn to use AI thoughtfully, confidently and safely, recognise common threats, and avoid mistakes that could compromise the security of your data or your organisation’s data.
Who is this training for? Anyone who uses AI in their daily work, studies or personal life and wants to understand the possibilities, limitations and risks of using it. It is also for those who are just starting to use AI. No prior knowledge of AI is required.
Duration: 3 hours (4 academic hours), in two parts with a break.
After the workshop, you will be able to:
· Decide what data may be given to AI;
· Anonymise a prompt while keeping the result useful;
· Spot a fabricated fact or source;
· Recognise a scam email or fake image created with AI.
Before the workshop: Think of a task you would like to do with AI but are unsure whether it is safe to do so. Bring a laptop or smartphone; the free version of tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot or Gemini is sufficient.
The workshop is led by Priit Kallas, a trainer and adviser on improving work with AI, with more than 25 years of experience in digital marketing, sales and strategy. He organised Estonia’s first series of AI seminars, has helped more than 10,000 professionals use AI, and has spoken at over 700 seminars and conferences.
The workshop is part of AI Week and the Eesti.ai initiative “The Most AI-Savvy Nation.”
