Transformation Role-Playing Game “DUра”

Try what you’ve been wanting to do for a long time. Let yourself be seen. Do things your own way. As soon as an interesting idea appears, an internal committee is already in session: “Who do you think you are?” “What will people say?” “Let’s not do anything silly.” Sound familiar? Then I invite you to get to know this crew a little better 🎭

“ДУРА” is a transformation role-playing game where our spontaneity meets our inner Critic. The Fool knows how to want things, come up with ideas, be surprised and try, without any guarantee of a perfect result. The Critic knows a thousand reasons to stop—but also has perseverance, attentiveness and the ability to stay on course.

At the session, we’ll explore how these qualities show up in you. What helps you take action? What holds you back? And how can you combine the courage to try with a sense of support from within?

**What we’ll do**

Using cards, images, movement and interaction, we’ll try on the roles of the Fool and the Critic: get to know their personalities, notice our reactions and look for unexpected possibilities in familiar situations.

There’ll be room for humour, absurdity, discoveries and serious questions. Behind a funny motto, you may sometimes find a very familiar thought: “I want that too, but I don’t let myself.”

No acting experience is needed. You can come with a personal question or simply out of curiosity about yourself.

**About the facilitator**

My name is Alyona. I trained with the creators of the game and became the first certified facilitator of “ДУРА” in Tallinn. During the session, I’ll guide the game and help connect what happens in the roles with your questions and everyday life.

**Location and atmosphere**

We’ll meet in Tallinn, in the Rotermanni Quarter, at Ajamaja. The programme includes a coffee break. There’ll be cookies and chocolate 🍫 If you have a favourite tea or other drink, feel free to bring it in a thermos. Alcohol is not permitted!

Come and meet your Fool. Bring your Critic too—there’ll be something for him to do.
