Jazz Nights // Some Like It Jazz

Jazz nights return to Wiktorija! To lift the mood on dark, damp autumn evenings, jazz music nights are returning to the Wiktorija cultural centre. This evening’s lineup will be like the film classic Some Like It Hot, because this time there will truly be more women than men on stage!

The programme will feature traditional jazz standards, modern jazz and various styles within the genre. Vocals, saxophone, guitar and the rhythm section will weave together in musical improvisations, showcasing the diversity and freedom of jazz.

On stage:
Petra Griškēviča – vocals
Laima Sonora Slēža – saxophone, vocals
Kate Kesus – guitar
Anna Krolla – drums
Kaspars Žabris – bass

This evening’s concert will take place in three sets, giving you time to enjoy live music, conversation and Wiktorija’s special atmosphere at a relaxed pace.

To reserve a table, we encourage you to book in advance by sending a WhatsApp message to +371 20227498.
