Pärnu – Practical Workshop: AI and Creativity – Opportunities, Risks and Responsibility

A village party poster, an invitation to a library autumn evening, or a post about a new product—what if the first draft were ready before your coffee cooled? Who it’s for: anyone who creates text, images, or other content—communications professionals, teachers, cultural workers, and small business owners. Level: beginner. Format: 3 hours (4 academic hours), split into two parts with a break in between. In the first part, learn how AI creates text and images and offers ideas. In the second, create a draft poster or post and check rights and labelling before publishing. After the workshop, you will be able to use AI to come up with ten ideas for a topic and choose the best one; write text and image prompts that produce results in your style; adapt one piece of content for different channels—a poster, post, or newsletter; and check copyright and label AI-generated content. Before the workshop: think of an event, product, or announcement you would like to create content for. Bring a laptop or smartphone; the free version of tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, or Gemini is sufficient. Trainer: to be announced soon.
