Austrasbērni in Concert with the Vītols Families

On Saturday evening at 19:00, join us for an Austrasbērni concert at Berči Hall, featuring the concert programme prepared for the “Trubadūrs” festival with two Vītols families. During Austrasbērni’s creative week in Cesvaine, held as part of the “Trubadūrs” festival, Jānis and Dace Vītols and Rasa Laube from the Vītols family of Liezēre, as well as Laura and Dzintars Vītols from the Vītols family of Rucava, worked musically with Austrasbērni. Together, they learned songs written by Jānis Vītols and Laura Vītola for the concert programme. In November, we mark both the 98th anniversary of Austras Pumpure and the beginning of the Christmas season. The concert programme’s bright mood—with songs by the Vītols families like a warm embrace—wonderfully complements the festive events in Liepāja. Admission is by donation.
