PÖFF 30 Special Tour – A Walk Through the Filming Locations of Forgotten and Unforgettable Films

Before film lovers head off to watch PÖFF films for two weeks, the Tartu Guides Association invites fans of Estonian cinema on a walk through the filming locations of forgotten and unforgettable films. Surely everyone can name at least one work of Estonian film classic status that was filmed in Tartu—perhaps “Names in Marble” or “The Secret Society of Souptown.” But there are many more films, scenes and filming locations worth remembering. You’re invited to a special city tour! Guide Eda Tursk will bring Tartu’s film history to life. The tour is in Estonian and starts by the information point next to the Town Hall. The event is part of the Tartu programme of the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival.
