PÖFF 30 Special Tour – 130 Years Since the First Film Screening in Tartu!

The Black Nights Film Festival and the Tartu Guides Association invite you to mark 130 years since the first moving-picture screenings in Tartu and recall the city’s old cinemas. Where were the Elektriteater Illusion, Imperial, Apollo and Central located, and what were these cinemas with their charming names like? You are invited on a special city tour! Guide Eda Tursk will bring Tartu’s cinema history to life. The tour is in Estonian and starts beside the Town Hall, by the information point. The event is part of the Tartu programme of the Black Nights Film Festival.
