Every Thursday at Tulika Töökoda 🔥🪘 Thursdays are our more informal gathering space. Drumming is the highlight of the evening, but this isn’t drum instruction: we jam together and find a shared rhythm. Sometimes someone leads the circle and shows us a rhythm, but it happens in the moment, so we can’t promise it in advance. A weekly place to come, hang out, play and meet people. Everyone is welcome, including those picking up a drum for the first time.
Why do we do this? We’re here to build a vibrant drumming community in Estonia. But, honestly, it’s also about the vibe that emerges when we get together. When drums, voices and music come together, we all start to vibrate a little differently. It’s pretty amazing to see that it isn’t someone on stage making it happen, but all the people around you.
Come early if you’d like to join in. From 18:00 to 20:00, we work on free community projects: preparing events, making decorations and discussing plans. There’s something for everyone.
💥 In November, it’s cheaper for two 💥 Bring someone who hasn’t been to one of our events before, or hasn’t been in a long time. The two-person Friends ticket is available only in advance through Fienta.
Tickets 🥁 €10 for one person 👯 €15 for a two-person Friends ticket
Want to deepen your skills? We jam on Thursdays and learn on Tuesdays. Drum lessons with Taavi take place on Tuesdays from 18:30 to 20:30. You can find the dates in the same series. https://fb.me/e/cnYEXobvh
Bring your own drum! There are drums at the venue too, but there may not be enough for everyone.
Parking: on Tulika Põik street (please don’t park in the parking bay, as you risk getting a fine!).
Hooandja supporters 🙏 If your gift was free participation in the drum circle, tell us your name at the door and come in. Thank you for helping us put together our sound system!
Sharing is caring: if you like, bring something tasty to share.
You can find directions in the Discussion section of the Facebook event.
