Drum Lessons with Taavi — 24 November 🔥🪘

Instructor Taavi Ram has over 20 years of experience playing the djembe. Each lesson focuses on specific rhythms, building them step by step, from individual strokes to a complete part. The group runs through the autumn and winter seasons, so there’s time to progress at a comfortable pace.

🪘 There are only 8 loaner drums in the group. If you don’t have your own djembe, buy your ticket in advance. If the drums are booked, there may not be any available at the venue. If you bring your own djembe, you have more time to decide, but a ticket is still required to secure your place.

Suitable if you’ve been playing drums for a while and know the basic strokes. We don’t start from scratch every Tuesday; instead, we build on what we’ve learned from week to week.

What we learn on Tuesdays doesn’t stay in the room: our Ingliranna Tule ja Trummi collective has already played at nearly ten different events. When a new opportunity comes up, participants in Drum Lessons get first priority, and often that means a free pass to the event. Performing is always optional: come along only if you want to.

Complete beginner? Start with the Thursday drumming circle, where you can learn the basics; Tuesday lessons will be waiting for you after that. https://fb.me/e/7lWWGNT8r
