Drum Lessons with Taavi — 17 November 🔥🪘

Led by Taavi Ram, who has over 20 years of experience playing the djembe. Each class focuses on specific rhythms, building them step by step from individual strokes to a complete part. The group runs through the autumn and winter season, giving us time to progress at a relaxed pace. 🪘

There are only 8 loaner drums in the group. If you don’t have your own djembe, buy your ticket in advance. Once the drums are booked, there may be none available at the venue. If you bring your own djembe, you have more time to decide, but a ticket is still required to secure your place.

It’s suitable if you’ve already been playing drums for a while and know the basic strokes. We don’t start over from scratch every Tuesday; we continue learning week by week.

What you learn on Tuesdays doesn’t stay in the room: our Ingliranna Tule ja Trummi collective has already played at nearly ten different events. When a new opportunity comes up, people attending Drum Lessons get first priority, and often this means a free pass to the event. Performing is always voluntary: you join in only if you want to.

A complete beginner? Start with the Thursday drum circle, where you can learn the basics, and join us on Tuesdays after that. https://fb.me/e/7lWWGNT8r
