Clayface

DC Studios’ “Clayface” is a horror thriller directed by James Watkins, starring Tom Rhys Harries as the eponymous Gotham City villain. “Clayface” tells the story of a man on his way to becoming a Hollywood star who turns into a vengeful monster. This terrifying story explores the loss of identity, humanity, toxic love and the dark side of scientists’ ambitions. The film also stars Naomi Ackie, David Dencik, Max Minghella and Eddie Marsan, as well as Nancy Carroll and Joshua James. The screenplay for the film, directed by James Watkins, was written by Mike Flanagan and Hossein Amini and is based on a story by Mike Flanagan, based on DC characters. The film is produced by Matt Reeves, Lynn Harris, James Gunn and Peter Safran, with Michael E. Uslan, Rafi Crohn, Paul Ritchie, Chantal Nong Vo and Lars P. Winther serving as executive producers. Watkins’ crew includes cinematographer Rob Hardy, production designer James Price, editor Jon Harris, visual effects supervisor Angus Bickerton, costume designer Keith Madden and casting director Lucy Bevan. DC Studios presents a 6th & Idaho Production and a James Watkins film, “Clayface”. The film is distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures and opens in cinemas on October 23, 2026.
