Family Concert “December Chaos” — Priit Võigemast and Andre Maaker

A family concert — not quite an ordinary concert, since we don’t usually perform concerts together. But here we are: this special event at this year’s Viljandi Guitar Festival continues here in Tubina Hall, and this much fun and joy simply can’t be kept under wraps.

A family concert is like coming home. You can sit in the back row and quietly think your own thoughts and feel your feelings, or settle in close to the performers so you can talk together about life and everything in it. You can sing along at the top of your lungs or hum quietly to yourself. The stories and songs are familiar ones — the kind the whole family knows by heart, or more or less knows, or at least would like to know.

On stage, guitarist Andre Maaker and actor and director Priit Võigemast meet to find common ground in stories, songs and moments to enjoy together, reminisce about and look ahead to with hopeful dreams. That’s what a family concert is: something new each time, created with the audience, laughter and music!

Come on your own, with a friend or your grandmother — and you can even bring the children! And of course, the neighbour!

Tickets: children up to and including age 7: FREE; students aged 8–18 inclusive: €7; adults: €15. Cash only at the venue on the day of the concert.
