Drum Lessons with Taavi — 3 November 🔥🪘

Led by Taavi Ram, who has over 20 years of experience playing the djembe. Each session, we work on specific rhythms and build them up step by step, from individual beats to a full part. The group runs through the autumn and winter seasons, giving us time to progress at a steady pace. 🪘

There are only 8 loaner drums in the group. If you don’t have your own djembe, buy your ticket in advance. Once the drums are booked, there may not be any free drums left at the venue. If you bring your own djembe, you have more time to decide, but a ticket is still needed to secure your place.

Suitable if you’ve already been playing drums for a while and know the basic beats. We don’t start from scratch every Tuesday; instead, we build on what we learn from week to week.

What you learn on Tuesdays doesn’t stay in the room: our Ingliranna Tule ja Trummi collective has already played at nearly ten different events. When a new opportunity comes up, people attending Drum Lessons get first priority, and often this means a free pass to the event. Performing is always optional: you join in only if you want to.

Complete beginner? Start with the Thursday drum circle, where you can learn the basics; Tuesday’s group will be waiting for you after that. https://fb.me/e/7lWWGNT8r
