This workshop provides a practical overview of how to use artificial intelligence effectively, safely and responsibly in the day-to-day work of the public sector. Through practical examples, Jaanus Riibe will show how AI can support information searching and organisation, drafting texts, analysing materials and other everyday tasks. We will also look at how to give AI clear instructions, assess the quality of its results, and identify the risks to consider in the public sector. Topics include data protection, information security, the use of confidential information, potential AI errors, and human responsibility and oversight.
The workshop is suitable for public-sector employees and other interested participants. No prior experience with AI is required. The workshop lasts 4 academic hours. Please bring your own computer. As part of the collaboration between TalTech and Eesti.ai, the workshop is also open to participants from outside the university.
