Meeting with family doctor Antra Trandafira

Do we visit our family doctor only when something hurts or we need a prescription? In fact, a family doctor is much more than someone who prescribes medication or refers us to a specialist. They are an important ally in our healthcare, helping us spot health problems early, assess risks and find the best path to feeling better.

On 25 November at 18:30, the Liepāja branch of the oncology patient support association “Dzīvības koks” invites you to Pegaza Viesistaba for a meeting with family doctor Antra Trandafira. We’ll talk about the family doctor’s role and the support they can offer, and how to make the best use of that help.

We’ll discuss the importance of family doctors in our healthcare, why their work goes beyond writing prescriptions and referrals, and how to build a successful relationship with your family doctor to look after your health in the long term. There will be an opportunity to ask questions, get answers and share experiences.

The event is open to everyone! Whether you are a member of the association or simply want to better understand your health and how a family doctor can help, you are welcome.
