Run Latvia in Liepāja!

On 18 November, the 108th anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic of Latvia, the traditional celebratory run “Run Latvia in Liepāja!” will start for the twelfth time at Jāņa Čakstes Square, where participants will collectively trace the outline of Latvia through the city streets. Gather at Jāņa Čakstes Square from 9:45 a.m. for a group warm-up and to sing the national anthem. Both Liepāja residents and visitors are welcome to take part. The route is 8.5 km long and suitable for runners, cyclists, walkers and Nordic walkers. To help participants find their way, the organizers have prepared route maps in the “Strava” mobile app. Please open and save them in the app in advance. The organizers remind participants that “Run Latvia in Liepāja” is a shared celebratory event, not a race with a marked course. As there will be no traffic restrictions during the event, all participants must stay alert and follow the Road Traffic Regulations.
