“Relatives” – New Ukrainian Comedy in Tartu!

The Ukrainian comedy “Relatives” (“Родичі”) continues its journey through the Baltic states! After screening in Tallinn, the film is now coming to Tartu. On 31 October at 15:00, Eesti Ukraina Filmiklubi invites everyone to Tartu Elektriteater to see the new Ukrainian comedy “Relatives,” created by the makers of the popular film “НУ МАМ.”

A large Ukrainian family gathers to celebrate Grandma Nadia’s 80th birthday. But the festive gathering quickly turns into a real battle over the inheritance. While the birthday girl enjoys the attention of her loved ones, her children and grandchildren are already discussing who should inherit the family home. Audiences can look forward to a witty story about family relationships, rivalry, misunderstandings and reconciliation. Funny situations, unexpected plot twists and recognisable characters remind us that even in the biggest family quarrels, there is always room for love.

The leading roles are played by Halõna Kornjejeva, Nazar Zadniprovskõi, Vira Kobzar, Oleksandr Jarema, Antonina Khõžnjak, Iryna Mak and other well-known Ukrainian actors.
