ESTEPATĀS EVENING CONVERSATIONS: Tarot, astrology and what we miss in everyday life

At the end of October, some remember those who have passed, some celebrate Halloween, while others simply light a candle and enjoy conversations about things there’s no time for in the rush of everyday life…

We invite you to the first gathering in the “Estepatās Evening Conversations” series. By candlelight, over tea or a glass of wine, we’ll talk about intuition, Tarot, astrology and self-discovery. We’ll explore symbols, ask questions and get to know different ways of looking at ourselves and everyday situations.

What will we talk about?
What is Tarot, anyway—and what isn’t it? What can Tarot tell us, and what can’t it? What questions should we ask Tarot, which should we take to astrology, and how can the two approaches complement each other? Why are readings sometimes contradictory? Are there “good” and “bad” cards? What can—and can’t—we infer about someone from their Sun sign alone? Shall we talk about the Tower? For the brave!

The evening will take place in an informal discussion format. There will also be room for your questions, experiences and curiosity. No prior knowledge is needed: come with your own deck and experience, with doubts, or simply wanting to discover these subjects for the first time.

IMPORTANT: The discussions are intended for learning and sharing experiences and ideas, so we ask everyone to treat one another with respect and understanding.

The discussions will be led by:

Edgars—he came to Tarot through an interest in language, communication and philosophy, seeing it as one way of understanding the world. His readings combine the interpretation of symbols with intuition, focusing on questions and situations that matter to people.

Agnese Esme—she has worked with Tarot for more than ten years, leads training groups and is currently creating a Tarot club in Ogre and Riga. Alongside Tarot, she works with the Mayan calendar, yoga, movement and somatic approaches, and organises women’s retreats.

Liena—she sees Tarot and astrology as a language of symbols and practical tools for understanding ourselves and others. She approaches consultations as conversations, combining interpretation with critical thinking to help formulate questions, understand a situation and consider possible courses of action in personal and professional life.

What is included in the ticket price?
- Participation in the evening discussions
- Tea, coffee or wine, and light snacks
- One short individual Tarot reading or a look at your birth chart, focused on one question, with one of the evening’s hosts

If you’d like a look at your birth chart, please have your date and place of birth ready, as well as your exact birth time, if known. It will also be possible to arrange a full individual consultation for another time. The time and fee for such a consultation will be agreed separately.

Places are limited, so we encourage you to buy a ticket in advance. You may also join during the evening without a ticket bought in advance if places are available.
