Jõulumäe 41st Forest Run

The Jõulumäe Forest Run takes place on the third Sunday of Mardikuu, 15 November, bringing running enthusiasts from Pärnumaa and further afield together for the 41st time in the scenic Jõulumäe dune pine forest. It is one of Jõulumäe’s oldest and most beloved races. Come celebrate this sporting tradition with us—a day when the whole pine forest fills with people enjoying exercise, spectators cheering on the runners, and autumn colours.

The forest run is open to everyone who enjoys being active. Alongside the traditional 9 km main race, the programme includes shorter children’s races (500 m, 1,000 m and 2,000 m). This year, jogging has been added alongside fitness walking. There is no timing for these 5.6 km activities; participants can do them simply for their own enjoyment. The children’s 500 m race, walking and jogging are free for participants. The races are divided into 18 age categories.

Pre-registration is open until 23:59 on 12 November 2026.

Advice for participants: To avoid unnecessary rushing at the venue, pre-registration is strongly recommended. Registering in advance helps the event run more smoothly—we know to expect you and can plan accordingly. It also leaves you more time to get ready on site. If registering at the venue, please arrive on time and follow the registration schedule.
