“Maarja Swiped on Tinder*” (Reserved)

A thriller by Kristina Paškevicius / Andra Teede. The play is based on the experiences of 59 real people in Estonia on the Tinder dating platform, collected by the author in autumn 2025. Nevertheless, all events and characters are fictional.

39-year-old Maarja abruptly ends a long-distance relationship and plunges headfirst into Tallinn’s dating scene. Driven by revenge, loneliness and curiosity, she races through a series of dates with all kinds of potential partners—from cowboys to bankers, journalists to builders, and all their friends—until an innocent adventure unexpectedly turns criminal.

The production forms part of Kristina Paškevicius’s creative research for her master’s studies in the choreography curriculum at TLÜ BFM.
