The casemates of Victoria Bastion are tunnels built at the end of the 17th century. They now house a tourist attraction offering tours, escape games and various programmes. During the tour, you will learn about the history of Narva’s defensive system, the role of the bastions in wartime and peacetime, treasures that only a few daredevils have ventured to seek, and the inhabitants of the bastions, whom you may even get to meet!
The temperature in the bastion casemates is 0°C in winter and 15°C in summer, so bring warm clothes in summer. Blankets are also provided for visitors during the tour.
Visiting the casemates is not recommended for children under 5. It is also not recommended for people who are afraid of enclosed spaces, have limited mobility, vestibular disorders or dizziness.
