MŪZIKA | LĪVI Celebrate 50 Years

In 2026, the cornerstone of Latvian rock music, the band “Līvi”, will celebrate its 50th anniversary with a special concert series. Over half a century, the band’s music has become an important part of Latvian rock, while its songs—with loud guitars, honest lyrics and a spirit of freedom—have become favourites across several generations. At the anniversary concerts, audiences can look forward to a musical journey through “Līvi”’s history, from the band’s beginnings to the present day. Alongside iconic hits that have become part of the golden treasury of Latvian rock, the band will also perform songs that are heard live less often but hold a special place in the hearts of the band and its listeners. This will be not only a celebration of 50 years, but also a meeting with the history, memories and living energy of Latvian rock music—an energy that can unite different generations. Because “Līvi” will always be more than a band: they are stories of freedom, defiance, love and staying true to yourself.
