LATVIA | Concert Programme “Latvian Voices”

The a cappella group “Latvian Voices” will perform their concert programme “Latvian Voices” at Slampes Kultūras pils, where Latvian music will take on a distinctive sound in arrangements created exclusively for voices. The concert will feature both Latvian folk songs and beloved popular songs, including Imants Kalniņš’s “Buramdziesmiņa”, “Piekūns skrien debesīs” by the group “Jauns Mēness”, and “Acis veras aizveras” by the group “Iļģi”. The programme will also include songs composed by the group members specifically for “Latvian Voices”. This varied repertoire will take listeners through a wide range of emotions—from patriotic and sentimental melodies to lively, rhythmic and energetic sounds.
