MUSIC | “Raxtu Raxti” Tour “One Sun, One Earth”

In autumn, the musical ensemble “Raxtu Raxti” will invite listeners to the “One Sun, One Earth” concert tour, featuring both new music and much-loved songs from the group’s creative journey to date. The first part of the concert will feature pieces from the new album, where Latvian folk music motifs meet influences from world music and entirely new original compositions. In the second part, “Raxtu Raxti” will return to songs that have featured in the group’s concerts since its beginnings and have become especially dear to the musicians themselves and to listeners in Latvia and beyond. A wide range of instruments, resonant voices and harmonies will create a special sense of togetherness, while singing along with the audience will become a tribute to and strengthening of Latvian identity, looking towards the future and a free Latvia.
