Comedian Edgars Bāliņš returns to stand-up comedy after a long break. “I took a respectable eight-year break so I could return to the stand-up comedy scene at just the right moment. The diplomatic explanation for this move would be that I’m returning to improve the state of humour in the country and help the people. In truth, just like a politician, I’m of course doing it only to get enormous amounts of money, insane fame and indescribable power in my hands,” Bāliņš says of his eagerly awaited return.
