In spring 2027, Antra Stafecka and Ingars Viļums will embark on a special concert tour across Latvia, inviting audiences to experience the musical story “Sildi, Uguntiņ’” (“Keep the Little Flame Burning”).
Continuing what they began on their previous “MANAS ZEMES SIRDS” concert tour, Antra Stafecka and Ingars Viļums will once again invite audiences to experience more than a concert. As audiences called this special musical experience during the previous tour, it is “Antra and Ingars’ song and dance festival”—and this story will continue in 2027.
The concert tour will be centred on the artists’ new album “Sildi, Uguntiņ’!”, in which they explore, through a contemporary musical language, a connection with folk songs, Latvian traditions, nature and the wisdom of life. They invite listeners to strengthen their inner core and remember where they come from. “Sildi, Uguntiņ’” is a story about roots that give us strength, and a little flame that we must keep alive within ourselves and pass on to future generations.
The concerts will feature songs from the new album as well as works by the two artists that audiences already love, including “Dzīparos”, “Baltu dzīvi nodzīvot”, “Krustiem un līkumiem”, “Sauciet”, “Alkas”, “Dūmdāva”, “Selgā” and others.
The song “Baltu dzīvi nodzīvot”, created in collaboration with the legendary band “Jumprava”, holds a special place in the artists’ creative journey. It won Latvijas Radio 2 listeners’ poll “Muzikālā banka 2024”.
Antra Stafecka’s expressive vocals and Ingars Viļums’ musical style will intertwine with a broader stage narrative, in which Latvian folk dance and choral singing traditions will also play an important role. A special participant on the tour will be the youth dance group “DZĪPARI” from Ogres Valsts ģimnāzija, bringing movement, energy and the strength of Latvian dance to the concert programme. And, of course, audiences can also look forward to special surprise guest artists, whose names will be revealed closer to the concerts.
“Sildi, Uguntiņ’” is therefore more than a concert tour. It is an event created together, where professional artists, young talents, local singers and dancers, and special guests meet on one stage.
