Winter Harmony | An Acoustic Concert

The concert programme “Winter Harmony” is an emotionally charged and acoustically refined musical journey that breaks down genre boundaries. It brings together classical music and contemporary popular music in an intimate, nuanced acoustic sound. The voices of three soloists from different vocal genres—Ilona Bagele, Elizabete Zagorska and Andris Ābelīte—will intertwine in harmony, each telling a story about the beauty of contrasts.

The vocalists are accompanied by three acoustic instruments, creating a full and colourful soundscape: piano (Artjoms Sarvi), the programme’s backbone, embodying elegance and harmonic depth; guitar (Ainis Rudzītis), bringing warmth, a rock character and the intimacy of quiet ballads; and trumpet (Andris Ābelīte), whose lyrical yet expansive sound will fill the space.

The concert will feature some of the most beautiful Christmas and winter-themed melodies, from moving songs by international and Latvian songwriters to the finest arias from classical music. Operatic vocal drama will sit alongside the soulfulness of ballads and beloved winter melodies by Latvian composers, heard in a new and previously unheard light.
