Raxtu Raxti | One Sun, One Earth

The musical group “Raxtu Raxti” presents its “ONE SUN, ONE EARTH” tour. This autumn, with a new concert programme and music album, the group “Raxtu Raxti” will delight audiences throughout Latvia. The first part of the concert will feature music from the new album, created by the Raxtu Raxti musicians, blending Latvian folk and world music, as well as entirely new original compositions. As usual, the group’s sound will be shaped by a wide range of instruments and resonant voices, equally at home in solo songs and rich harmonies. The second part of the concert will feature music that has been performed at Raxtu Raxti concerts since the group’s beginnings, including songs especially dear to the musicians and performed at concerts in Latvia and beyond its borders. Singing together with the audience will be a way to strengthen and honour Latvian identity, looking to the future—a free Latvia.
