Trio Romance (Estonia) Concert

On 28 January at 18:30, Trio Romance (Estonia) will perform at Daugavpils Theatre. In its work, Trio Romance brings to life the rich traditions of 18th- and 19th-century salon music, preserving the authentic emotional character of the romance while adding a new, modern colour to its performances. The ensemble’s repertoire includes old and contemporary romances in arrangements by the members themselves, as well as retro music: lyrical songs and jazz (tangos, waltzes and foxtrots). The vocal trio Romance also performs songs in Estonian, English and Italian. The trio is known for its gentle, delicate style, melodiousness and remarkable vocal harmony, sincerity, charm and grace—all alongside bold arrangements, an outstanding sense of proportion and a high level of professionalism. The ensemble has won awards at many international competitions held in the United Kingdom, Finland and other countries. At the International Vocal Ensembles Festival in Tampere, Finland, in 2005, the ensemble received a special award. The trio performs frequently in Estonia and abroad, including in Finland, Sweden, Norway, the United Kingdom, Lithuania and Latvia. Information and tickets here.
