Market on Rīgas Street

On Saturday, 21 November, from 10:00 to 16:00, the traditional Rīgas Street Market will take place in Daugavpils. Traders from Latvia, Lithuania and other countries will offer a wide range of food products, including home-baked bread and pastries, honey and beekeeping products, herbal teas, spices, cheeses, sweets, and sea buckthorn, hemp and lavender products. Visitors will also find handicrafts and applied art, including woven baskets, wooden utensils, beeswax candles, natural cosmetics, wool and leather goods, jewellery and souvenirs, as well as paintings by artists and interior décor items. The Rīgas Street Market will take place along the section of Rīgas Street between Cietokšņa Street and Stacijas Street. It is organised by the Daugavpils City Municipality institution “Communal Services Administration”.
