Comedy “A Really Good Day” at Daugavpils Kultūras pils

On 13 November at 18:00, you can see the play “A Really Good Day” at Daugavpils Kultūras pils. The latest production by director Dž. Dž. Džilindžers is British playwright Donald Churchill’s comedy “A Really Good Day”. A witty play with sophisticated humour, it is being staged in Latvia for the first time. “A Really Good Day” takes a look behind the scenes of England’s upper class. Where outward politeness and refinement reign, tension, jealousy and a desire for justice—or at least some proper revenge—are simmering beneath the surface. Unexpected twists, poorly concealed emotions and unabashed passions: that is how a summer afternoon will unfold when all the characters, by chance or design, meet in a London flat. A decorator with acting ambitions, paintbrushes and Shakespeare in his backpack; a temperamental society lady with a plan that must not be spoiled; and an angry “ex” with a wooden hammer, a desire for revenge and a need to “tell all”… What could go wrong? EVERYTHING!!!
