Tax-free options and smarter accounting workflows

Entrepreneurship gives you the opportunity to shape your work and lifestyle consciously. How well do you know and use these opportunities? How can you cover home-office and work-equipment costs through your business, reimburse work-related travel, and support your own training and health? How should you host clients and partners and give them gifts? We’ll review tax-free options, the conditions for taxation, and the necessary documents. You’ll also learn how photographing receipts, automatic bank connections, and AI can help you spend less time on monthly bookkeeping.

On 17 November, we’ll meet at TEAkadeemia for a practical workshop connecting the opportunities available to entrepreneurs with everyday life and modern tools.

Tax-free options for entrepreneurs
We’ll go through tax-free benefits and expense reimbursements, and the conditions for using them. We’ll look at how the options depend on your role in the company, and what documents and agreements you need to use them.

Your lifestyle and entrepreneurship
Home office, work equipment, work-related travel, business trips, training, and support for health and wellbeing—we’ll discuss practical examples of which options suit your work and business, and how to use them correctly.

Hosting clients and business partners, and gifts
We’ll look at how to handle catering at business meetings, hosting expenses, promotional gifts, and other gifts. You’ll gain a clearer understanding of the differences between them, the principles of taxation, and the required documentation.

Smoother bookkeeping with less time spent
We’ll look at how to create a simple workflow from purchase documents to sales invoices and bank transactions. We’ll explore what modern apps, bank connections, and automation can do, and how to divide tasks between yourself and your accountant.

AI in your everyday work
Through practical examples, I’ll show how to use AI to organise information, find what you need in documents, prepare explanations and work instructions, and simplify recurring tasks. You’ll get ideas for giving AI clear instructions and evaluating its responses.

Who is this workshop for?
For new and established small-business owners who want to make more informed use of the opportunities available to them and spend less time on bookkeeping. You’re welcome whether you do your bookkeeping yourself or use an accountant. No prior experience using AI is needed.
