Aivars Vilipsons and Ivars Miķelsons: “Divi SONI Liepājā”

From 16 October to 6 December 2026, the exhibition “Divi SONI Liepājā” by Aivars Vilipsons and Ivars Miķelsons will be on view in the small exhibition hall of Liepājas muzejs. The exhibition opens on Friday, 16 October, at 17:00. “Divi SONI Liepājā” brings together two distinct artistic approaches, grounded in approximately 45 years of friendship and creative collaboration. The title playfully combines the artists’ surnames, while their works create a dialogue between line and volume, personal observation and imagination. At the centre is the human being—the body, relationships and moments in life transformed into images through graphic art, painting and sculpture.
